FDA confirms no additional Global Pharma products were imported into the US

The Dry Eye Foundation’s medical advisor, Sandra Brown MD, spoke to FDA representatives today regarding the possibility that additional eye care products manufactured by Global Pharma Private Limited have been imported into the United States.

A total of 13 ophthalmic products manufactured by Global Pharma are listed with the FDA, including the EzriCare eye drops associated with numerous cases of multi-drug-resistant Pseudomonas bacterial infection.

The FDA representative confirmed that, according to Global Pharma’s records and the FDA’s own records, no other products have been imported into the US.
